Brewed To Give

BREWED TO GIVE is a self-imposed tax of 2% on total brewery sales which we invest in groups uplifting people or places across Bristol. In 2023-24, we are investing £80k of STOCK, SPACE and DIRECT SUPPORT, in 150 charities and good causes across our city.

Brewed to Give is supporting a range of vital community services across Bristol, from primary school play equipment, subsidised sporting activities for young people from deprived areas, cooking classes for asylum seekers and refugees, mental health therapies for men, to care and support for people with terminal illnesses.

Every BBF pint sold across the UK is helping fund projects in our city.

Why we care about our city

Here at BBF, we wear the Bristol name as a badge of honour. We live, breathe, and brew this city and have always looked for ways to give back.

In the past, we’ve supported local charities like Talk Club, through our collaboration on Clear Head, and our community through ad hoc beer donations and sponsorships. But we knew we could do more for the city that made us.

This is why we’ve launched BREWED TO GIVE.

What support we offer

Stock – We donate BBF beer and equipment, from raffle prizes to a full stocked event bar, helping you smash your fundraising targets!

Space – We offer free use of Studio BBF for activities that uplift, support or raise funds for, communities in Bristol.

Direct Support – We don’t have all the solutions and we know that donated stock is not always suitable. That’s why we welcome groups to tell us how else we can help.
